Black Ops 6, the highly anticipated sequel to the popular Call of Duty franchise, is set to be released in 2024. While Activision has yet to officially confirm the game's existence, multiple sources have reported that it's in development and will be a direct sequel to Black Ops Cold War.
According to Windows Central, Black Ops 6 has been in development for over four years. The game's worldwide reveal is expected to take place on June 9 as part of the Xbox Games Showcase event. Apart from Black Ops 6, Avowed will also be making an appearance during the showcase. Microsoft is yet to reveal what's in store for us with Avowed, but we'll hopefully get to see more of the game.
Leaks and rumors have suggested that Black Ops 6 will be a return to the series' roots, with a focus on fast-paced, action-packed gameplay. The game is also said to feature a new campaign, multiplayer maps, and a variety of new weapons and equipment. We got to see a brief glimpse of Black Ops 6 in a promotional video showcasing a squad, further hinting at the game's existence.
