Team Continues to Advance Despite Injuries and Obstacles

Strong Goaltending and Timely Scoring Carry the Day

The Dallas Stars continue to defy the odds and advance in the playoffs despite facing a number of injuries and obstacles. The team's strong goaltending and timely scoring have been key factors in their success thus far.

In the first round, the Stars upset the Nashville Predators in six games. Goaltender Anton Khudobin was outstanding throughout the series, posting a .937 save percentage and a 1.87 goals-against average. The Stars also got timely scoring from a variety of players, including Denis Gurianov, Roope Hintz, and Jamie Benn.

In the second round, the Stars are facing the Colorado Avalanche, one of the top teams in the league. The Avalanche won the first two games of the series, but the Stars have since rallied to win three straight games. Khudobin has continued to play well, and the Stars have gotten timely scoring from Jason Robertson, Joe Pavelski, and Alexander Radulov.

The Stars now have a chance to close out the series in Game 6 at home. A win would send them to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2008.
